If your Supernote cannot connect to Wi-Fi, the issue is usually related to network selection, system version, or a temporary system state.
- Most Wi-Fi issues are resolved by checking settings or restarting the device.
- Keeping the system up to date is important for network compatibility.
- Follow the steps below in order, without skipping any.

Step 1 – Check the Wi-Fi network
First, make sure you are selecting the correct network.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Wi-Fi.
- Confirm that the correct Wi-Fi network is selected.
- Re-enter the Wi-Fi password if necessary.
Step 2 – Restart the device
A restart can clear temporary network issues.
- Go to Settings > System > Restart, or
- Press and hold the power button for about 8 seconds.
After restarting, try connecting to Wi-Fi again.
Step 3 – Check for system updates
Updating the system may fix known Wi-Fi issues.
- Go to Settings.
- Select System.
- Tap Check for updates.
- Install any available updates.
Step 4 – Manual firmware update (if Wi-Fi update is not possible)
If you cannot update the system directly because Wi-Fi is not working:
- Download the correct firmware for your device from the official Supernote website.
- Connect your Supernote to a computer using a USB-C cable.
- Follow the official instructions to copy the firmware to the correct folder.
- Restart the device to complete the update.
What is NORMAL (and not a bug)
- Wi-Fi not connecting on some public or enterprise networks
- A short delay before the Wi-Fi status updates
- Needing to reconnect after a system update or restart
ℹ️ These behaviours are normal and network-dependent.
When should you contact support?
Only contact customer support if:
- the device cannot connect to any Wi-Fi network
- Wi-Fi remains unavailable after system updates
- manual firmware update does not resolve the issue
- the Supernote is new or was received recently
Remember to specify:
- your device model (A5 X / A6 X / A6 X2 Nomad)
- your system version (if available)
- the type of Wi-Fi network used (home, office, public)
- what steps you have already tried
